Robert Wickens regained the lead of the 2011 Formula Renault 3.5 Series following a stellar weekend at Germanys Nürburgring Circuit with the Canadian racer dominating the double-header proceedings with two pole positions, a victory on Saturday and second place in Sundays race. Robert, an official Formula One reserve driver for Marussia Virgin Racing, signaled his intent early in the weekend quickly setting the pace throughout Fridays fifth round free practice sessions at the 4.55km track.
