Before the patient returns to the ward with an analgesic pump, the anesthetist doctor will do the following things: select a 48-hour pump according to the patient's condition, match the analgesic drugs, and add the analgesic pump to make the top of the dilatant capsule reach the 100 ml scale of the pump body. At the end of the operation, the first dose of analgesic drugs was injected to the patient, so that the concentration of analgesic drugs could reach a certain level quickly, so as to connect the time between anesthesia and drunkenness and the analgesic pump, so as to ensure the patient's pain-free. Then, the analgesic pump is connected to the patient, the epidural pump is fixed properly with adhesive tape, and the venous pump is connected to the infusion end. If the three-way connection is used, the unimpeded joint should be ensured. When ward nurses take over, they should know which type of analgesic pump is used and whether it is properly connected. Explain the matters to the patient or his family members when necessary. During the use of analgesic pump, check the connection of analgesic pump and whether there is leakage in pump body and pipeline to understand the analgesic effect of patients and the incidence of side effects. After changing fluid replacement or intravenous medication for patients, always keep the three-way connector unobstructed, so as not to affect the analgesic pump medication. As the number of drugs decreases, the expansion capsule of the analgesic pump will gradually shrink until it is completely collapsed, indicating that the drug has been used up. The epidural pump can wait for the anesthesia doctor to remove it, and the venous pump can be removed by the ward nurse.
