Kershaw Curious About Free Agency - RealGM Wiretap
Clayton Kershaw will become a free agent after next season if he doesn't sign a new contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers Mike Gartner Jersey , but he's "curious" about the open market.
"I think any player, that's the reward of baseball, to make it to that point," Kershaw said. "I think any player gets curious when you get close, for sure."
That doesn't mean Kershaw is destined to hit the open market. Dodgers ownership said last month that they were confident a multiyear agreement would be reached this winter.
Asked if he was hopeful the situation could be resolved soon, Kershaw replied, "I really don't know what to expect. I'm just kind of open-minded going into the off-season. Whatever happens, I'll be coming back next year anyway. I'm just trying to prepare for that."

Kevin McClatchy, who was the owner and CEO of the Pirates from 1996 to 2007, has acknowledged that he is gay.
He told the New York Times that frequent homophobic slurs he heard in baseball circles had convinced him to keep his sexual orientation a secret.
"I've got a birthday coming up where I'm turning old Kari Lehtonen Jersey ," McClatchy, who will turn 50 in January, told The Times. "I've spent 30 years -- or whatever the number is specifically -- not talking about my personal life, lying about my personal life."

"This has been challenging to me," McClatchy said. "I probably didn't sleep as well as I could have last night."

With each new decade comes a new style, and many decades have brought about memorable fashion trends. While the big hair trend of the 1980s and the bell-bottoms of the 1970s were both distinct in their respective decades for fashion and expression, it was the style of the 1960s that broke fashion traditions and paved the way for the future in the fashion industry.
The early â60s boasted the charm of one of the most trend-setting first ladies of all time, Jackie Kennedy. Women during this time wore pastel colored suits with short boxy jackets and large buttons. âShifts,â which were simple, straight-lined geometric dresses, were also in style for women, along with Capri trousers for casual wear.
